As traditionally a few hours before its special events, Apple has just taken down its Apple Store app and all the online shopping pages for its products.
From here until the end of the keynote, around 4pm, no one can buy anything online directly from Apple:
All of this usually returns to the air immediately after the presentation, usually with some of the revealed news already available for purchase or, at least, with preliminary information of when they will be available.
It is not uncommon for Apple to take advantage of these opportunities to make price adjustments, too.
