Typically, an Apple product launch follows a very standard roadmap; with Powerbeatshowever, it was different.
They were seen on the shelves of Apple partner stores – and approved by Anatel – even before its official announcement, which took place in mid-March. Now, about two months later, they are on sale at Brazil.
The new Powerbeats incorporate the H1 chip, increasing its autonomy from 12 to 15 hours compared to the predecessor model (with 1.5 hours of autonomy after only 5 minutes of recharge), in addition to adding support to the “Hey there Siri” command and the iOS / iPadOS Audio Sharing feature.
They are also resistant to water and sweat, bringing physical controls of reproduction and volume. The look, however, is very similar to that of the previous generation, with a wire connected side to side.
Available in three colors (black, white and red), the headphones cost R $ 1,300 in Brazil – R $ 150 less than the Powerbeats3 Wireless which they replaced.
