Easily connect your Thunderbolt-equipped Mac to a FireWire device using Apple's Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter. Small and compact, it plugs into your Mac computer's Thunderbolt port, giving you a FireWire 800 port that offers up to 7W for bus peripherals such as hard drives and audio devices.

This flexibility is a major benefit of the Thunderbolt interface.

The Thunderbolt Adapter for FireWire costs R $ 100 in Brazil (current forecast of 3-4 weeks for shipping), while in the United States it costs US $ 30.
