According to a stock availability survey at retail stores through the «Personal Pickup» program at Apple’s 249 locations in the United States, each of the two standard 27 ″ iMac configurations is sold out at approximately half of Apple Retail Stores.
The 21.5 ″ models can apparently still be found in most stores, but several indicate delivery of both the largest and the largest for September 4-7, some only for the 11th. Adding to other recent calls [1, 2, 3], it is more than clear that we will see an update on the line soon, soon. For now, all iMac models are listed in the Apple Online Store (both American and Brazilian) as «in stock».[[MacRumors]
