Apple seeks new suppliers of iPad screens and reaches sales of 1.2 million a month

Even though it has expanded its iPad production capacity to launch it in several countries, Apple is still having trouble taking its tablet to more places in the world, as the forecast for July will only be able to keep the product on sale in 19 countries. In Asia, it is believed that the company will start receiving screens from another manufacturer, Samsung, which may be able to put up to 500 thousand units in its hands from July.

Many iPads

Adding that figure to the average LG production that put an average of 700,000 iPad screens in Apple's hands in previous months, it will be able to produce at least 1.2 million tablets per month, which should help launch it. in more countries. However, some researchers believe that this number will rise to 2.5 million by the end of the year, aiming at greater global availability.

It is difficult to ensure that these efforts are able to meet the demand for the iPad outside the United States, as many important locations have not yet actually received it. To further complicate matters, Apple still needs to release iOS 4 for the tablet, of which we have yet to hear anything about it.
