Apple releases sixth beta version of Xcode 7 and fifth test version of OS X Server 5.0

Apple today released new beta versions of Xcode 7 and OS X Server for developers.

THE Xcode 7 beta 6 (build 7A192o) brings compatibility with SDKs (software development kits, or software development kits) for iOS 9 beta 5 and OS X El Capitan 10.11 beta; j for the OS X Server 5.0 beta 5 (build 15S2235), Apple asks developers to focus their tests on file sharing with iOS (iOS File Sharing), profile management (Profile Manager/ MDM) and web services (Web Services).

The release of Xcode 7 beta 6 may indicate that we will not have new beta versions of iOS / OS X this week. Of course, Apple may very well release new system builds soon, but as this Xcode is compatible with the latest beta releases, if Apple makes new ones available, it will have to update Xcode again to work with them (at least with iOS 9) beta 6).

Taking into account that we will probably have a special Apple event on September 9th and that new iPhones are due to hit stores on September 18th, the final version of iOS 9 should be available to everyone by September 16th. For this, the GM version (Golden Master) should be released soon, soon.

OS X seems to be also in the final stages of testing, especially considering that the information screen on the Mac (About This Mac) already includes the El Capitan icon, something that usually happens in the last compilations as the reader Erwin alerted us.

Excited about the new operating systems?
