Apple releases macOS Catalina 10.15.4 Supplemental Update to fix FaceTime bug

At Apple, as in many companies around the world, everyone is working from home. But the people there are quite busy, apparently. That’s because today, in addition to watchOS 6.2.1, Apple has also released Supplemental update for macOS Catalina 10.15.4 (build 19E287).

Here’s what was implemented by Apple in this update:

Supplemental update for macOS Catalina 10.15.4

The macOS Catalina 10.15.4 Supplemental Update improves Mac stability and security. It:

• Fixes an issue where Mac computers running macOS Catalina 10.15.4 were unable to participate in FaceTime calls with devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier; • Resolves an issue where a request password could be received repeatedly for an Office 365 account; • Fixes an issue where the MacBook Air (Retina, 13 inch, 2020) could crash in the Setup Wizard or when disconnecting and reconnecting to an external 4K or 5K monitor; Addresses an issue where a USB-C port on the Mac might not respond.
