Apple has just released two updates related to Mac firmwares, the first for professional tower owners and the second more general.
Mac Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.5 (1.96MB)
Recommended for all Mac Pro owners released in the middle of this year, the update fixes the following issues:
- Bug that prevented the firmware password entry window from being shown;
- Bug that prevented the Boot Picker from being presented if an Ethernet cable was connected to a network without DHCP.
The update requires Mac OS X 10.6.4 or higher.
Firmware Restoration CD 1.9 (22.5MB)
This CD capable of restoring the original firmware of any Mac with an Intel processor.
