And left! After five beta versions, the final version of iOS 12.1 (builds 16B92 and 16B93) has just been made available by Apple to all users of iPhones, iPads and iPods touch compatible.
If you have not yet upgraded your device to iOS 12, this is a good time to do so: the “x.1” versions, after all, are generally quite effective in refining the good parts brought by their predecessors, eliminating any problems that may have appeared and polished the sharp edges of the system.
In relation to the news brought by the update we have more than 70 new emojis, Memojis synchronization by iCloud, FaceTime in group (which will also arrive at macOS and, only in audio, at watchOS), support for Dual SIM technology on the XS / XS Max iPhones / XR and a new feature in Portrait Mode that will allow you to adjust the depth of your photos in real time, even before taking them. This note from Apple provides more details about the news.
IOS 12.1 also fixes this “Beauty Mode” that caused controversy with the new Apple devices.
Here are the full iOS 12.1 release notes:

Accompanying the launch, Apple published a complete user guide for iOS 12.1 in Apple Books; from it, we can extract even some extra details about the news – older iPhones (5s, 6 and 6 Plus), for example, will only support FaceTime in groups by audio; the Apple Music app will receive the recently announced news, with new artist pages, lists with the 100 most popular songs in the world updated daily and the search for lyrics.
To update your device, first make sure that you have an updated backup of your data on iTunes or iCloud; then just go to Settings, access General » Software update and start the process.
