Apple releases first beta versions of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS Big Sur, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14

As expected, Apple released the early beta versions new operating systems recently announced during the opening keynote of the WWDC20, including the iOS / iPadOS 14 (build 18A5301v), the macOS Big Sur (20A4299v), the watchOS 7 (18R5310a) and the tvOS 14 (18J5313t).

As we reported, betas are only available to developers – the first public test version will be available only in July, while the final version of the system will be launched in the autumn of the northern hemisphere.

It is worth noting that, during the keynote, Apple hinted that the numbering of macOS Big Sur would be macOS 11, but in the version made available it is like 10.16. ??‍♂️

What is macOS Big Sur, Apple? On the stage, the “About” window said macOS 11, but when I downloaded it, it was macOS 10.16.

Obviously, the main novelties of the systems and software listed above were covered in the keynote just now (iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS Big Sur, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14); other details will certainly be revealed as the developers get their hands on the beta versions. We, of course, are ready to bring any discoveries as soon as possible.

The first test versions of the Xcode 12 (build 12A6159) and the Xcode 12 for macOS Universal Apps (12A8158a).

Let the tests begin! ?
