Apple releases avalanche of new betas: iOS 9.3, OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, watchOS 2.2, tvOS 9.2, Xcode 7.3 and Apple Configurator 2.2 [atualizado 11x: novidades!]

Last week we had the release of the second beta versions of iOS 9.2.1 and OS X El Capitan 10.11.3, but today Apple surprised and has already started testing the iOS 9.3 (compilation 13E5181d) and the OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 (15E27e) with OS X Server 5.1 (15S5058), in addition to watchOS 2.2 (13V5098e), from tvOS 9.2 (13Y5179e) interestingly also from tvOS 9.1.1 (13U713), from Xcode 7.3 (7D111g) and the Apple Configurator 2.2 (3C19).

Beta versions of OS X El Capitan 10.11 and iOS 9

The company has not yet released details about the updates, but as soon as we hear significant news we will notify you here on the site.

We imagine that Apple is planning to release iOS 9.2.1, OS X 10.11.3 and tvOS 9.1.1 very soon, with the other most significant updates due in a while since it will probably need to go through some beta builds until they are “round”.

All are available immediately on the Apple Developer portal and are, of course, not recommended for daily use.

Apparently, the iOS 9.3 it's the watchOS 2.2 will allow users to pair iPhones with multiple Apple Watches for the first time. In addition, Siri is gaining support for Hebrew (Israel), Finnish (Finland) and Malay (Malaysia) languages.

iOS 9.3 on iPads for education

At the iOS 9.3, Apple also expanded support for 3D Touch shortcuts on icons in the system’s native apps: Weather (Weather), Sade (Health), Compass (Compass), Handbag (Stocks), Settings (Settings), in addition to new items in the App Store and the iTunes Store.

THE MacRumors highlighted some more details of the iOS 9.3, like the possibility of duplicating a Live Photo as a normal photo, a new icon in the lower left corner of items in the Wallet that leads to the corresponding apps, and a new haptic feedback for the multitasking interface when activated via 3D Touch (on iPhones 6s / 6s Plus).

App Analytics cone

Developers can now also measure the engagement of their users and the monetization of their apps created for the tvOS using the App Analytics tool, recently launched by Apple. In addition to seeing data about product views, downloads and engagement, they can also see how many users have been acquired with their marketing campaigns.

Another novelty is for users in itself that the watchOS 2.2 now it brings more options for interaction in the Maps Summary, as we can see in the images above.
