On June 10, 2008, when Apple inaugurated the App Store, she also released a game of her own, as if she wanted to show developers what she expected from the new applications that were starting to be made from that moment on.

Today, 11 years later, the company is relaunching the same game, now adapted to new devices.

Texas Hold’em is a poker game with realistic characters and animations, as in the old days of skeumorfismo.

The game was not long in the air. Without receiving updates since launch (only one after a few weeks), it ended up being incompatible with iOS and was taken down. In fact, Apple never paid much attention to it.

Now the game is back, in a redesigned version. In addition to the better resolution graphics (which make his file weigh more than 1.5GB), new characters and support for Portuguese were added.

Texas Hold’em is back and better than ever. Now includes high resolution graphics, new characters, works on iOS 12, is available for free and in more languages.

In fact, it is the first time that the game is available on the App Store brazilian. At that time, Apple did not offer the category Games in our country due to legal problems, and anyone who wanted to download Texas Hold’em had to create an American account.

The game is completely free, with no internal purchases, and can be downloaded through this link.
