Portuguese consumers have, since this Friday, a new space to buy Apple products. The new store, located in Chiado, Lisbon, is the responsibility of a Portuguese company, which established a partnership with the manufacturer.
The investment in this new commercial space, valued at 350 thousand euros, is from Mobbit Systems, a company owned by the media group Ongoing, which has plans to expand the business with the opening of two more stores by the end of the year, covering the city from Porto.
The project is justified by investors with the «state of grace» that the Apple brand lives at the moment, in addition to the fact that the latest releases from the manufacturer are about to reach the Portuguese market.
In addition to products, the space promises to invest in targeted training, replicating what Apple does in its own stores, namely with actions aimed at users of video, photography and music.
«What we intend to give here is more choice, with a larger product portfolio and betting heavily on two markets, both in the ‘consumer’ and in the professional, with a training space that will only open in September», «said Lusa. Mobbit Systems president, Henrique Couto Martins.
It is recalled that the first Apple Reseller store in Portugal opened in June 2008, in an investment by the Taboada & Barros Group.
