Apple postpones delivery of 27-inch iMacs again

For the second time since the new iMacs began selling, Apple has again postponed delivery of the 27-inch models. This time, the company's online store informs customers that the availability of the most expensive desktop models is scheduled for three weeks from now, seven days longer than the previous 21.5-inch models are still being offered for delivery. in up to 24 hours.

Interestingly, this has to do with the fact that not all iMac models are available at the national Apple Online Store, suggesting that we will only see them there after the demand in the United States is normalized. The last time the delivery of the 27-inch iMacs was delayed, Apple claimed that the move had been taken to account for the high demand for the products, although several graphic and construction problems are still being reported.

THE AppleInsider reports that a large part of Apple's authorized resellers in the United States are with them in ready delivery, which may also mean that her efforts to normalize production have only managed to stabilize the stock of its partners. J o MacNN believes that this should coincide with introductions of Apple software that should occur in the coming days, making it easier for users to buy new iMacs with new pre-installed programs.
