Apple pays dearly for Ed Sheeran documentary

The news and movements related to the Apple Music continue in full swing.

Yesterday, we said that J. Cole's new album broke the record for transmissions on its first day of availability; then, information about a new team focused on the country style emerged and there was also a trailer for a documentary with Patti Smith. Now, the novelty concerns Ed Sheeran.

According to the deadline, Apple paid a large sum ("seven digits", somewhere between $ 1 and $ 5 million according to sources) and secured the rights to a documentary about the singer and songwriter, entitled "Songwriter".

Directed by Murray Cummings, Sheeran's cousin, the film shows the artist in the middle of his creative process, both when writing and presenting himself, and also brings images never seen before from his childhood.

For fans, another full plate coming through.
