Apple Pay in Austria

For now, only two banks support the service, the Erste Sparkasse and the N26 for Maestro, Mastercard and Visa debit / credit cards. But Apple has reported that other banks (Bank Austria, Boon, Edenred, Revolut and VIMPay) will soon be supporting Apple Pay by then.

The arrival of Apple Pay in Austria had been awaited since March, when some banks began to report that they would support Apple's payment service. Along Austria, other countries (such as Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Greece and Portugal) were also cited by banks, so it was a matter of time before Apple Pay landed there too.

According to the company, Apple Pay is available today in the following countries / regions: Germany, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Vatican City, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, Finland, France, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom , Czech Republic, Russia, San Marino, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Ukraine.

In Brazil, Apple Pay is supported by Banco do Brasil (Visa combo cards and Visa credit cards), Bradesco (Visa debit cards and Visa credit cards) and Ita (for now, credit only).
