Apple today announced that it has entered into agreements with Target, Taco Bell, Hy-Vee supermarkets and Jack in the Box to start accepting the Apple Pay in all its locations in the United States.

With the entry of these, 74 of the 100 largest American store chains already support Ma's mobile payment system. Here are some of the partner brands:

Stores / brands that accept Apple Pay in the USA

“It doesn't matter if consumers are buying everyday household items, food, snacks for a trip or getting a quick meal, Apple Pay is the easiest way to pay in stores, while also being safe and faster than using a credit card credit or debit at the cashier, ”said Jennifer Bailey, Apple's vice president of internet services. "We are glad that even more consumers will be able to pay at their favorite stores and restaurants using Apple devices that are always with them."

Apple Pay is now accepted at 65% of all US retail outlets, thanks also to recent entry by Costco, CVS Pharmacy and 7-Eleven.

In Brazil, fortunately a good part of the machines for payment with credit / debit card already support NFC technology and are being rapidly updated with support for Apple Pay and other mobile payment services. Really, quite a practicality!
