Recently Tim Cook confirmed that the Apple Pay it would reach two new countries later this year: Canada and Australia. Because, according to the iPhone in Canada, Apple's mobile payments service will land in the country tomorrow, November 17th.
The website claims to have contacted representatives of American Express cards, who in turn have confirmed (not just once, but some) the debut date in the country. It is not yet known when other cards (such as Visa and MasterCard) will support Apple Pay in Canada.
If that really happens tomorrow, it is quite possible that the final version of iOS 9.2 will be released, bringing support to the service in Canada.
For the time being nothing has been commented on the arrival of Apple Pay Australia, but according to Ma this will happen in 2015. Already in 2016, at least three new countries will receive the payment service: Spain, Hong Kong and Singapore all of them initially supporting AMEX cards only.
Apple Pay is currently only available in the United States and the United Kingdom.
