Apple Pay gains integration with Banco do Brasil and Bradesco | Utilities

Apple Pay gained integration with Banco do Brasil and Bradesco. Apple's virtual wallet now works in three banks, a team of which Ita is also part. With the function, customers can make purchases in physical stores and online without the need for a card, using only the data stored on iOS or WatchOS.

The service, which arrived in the country in April, operates with Mastercard and Visa cards, in the credit and debit functions, depending on the financial institution. Apple Pay is compatible with iPhone 6 or later, including iPhone SE. In addition, it can be used on all versions of the Apple Watch and on the 5th and 6th generation iPod Touch, iPad Mini 3 and Mini 4, iPad Pro and iPad Air 2. The devices must have iOS 11.2 or higher.

Payment in physical stores is made through NFC. In this case, the user must first make sure that the machine has Apple Pay enabled. If so, just move the device closer and authenticate with Touch ID or Face ID, in the case of iPhone X.

Ita makes Apple Pay available on the Itaucard and Credicard cards, be they with multiple functions or only credit, but only for payment on credit. Bradesco offers the digital wallet on Visa credit cards and Poupcard Visa cards, both issued by Bradesco Cartes.
