Apple Pay could be launched in Portugal next week

The latest international expansions of the Apple pay occurred in Hungary and Luxembourg in May, and then in the Netherlands less than two weeks ago. There was, however, a rumor that 16 other countries would receive Ma's mobile payment system soon.

For, according to information obtained by international vehicles compiled today by AppleInsider, Apple is preparing to launch the system in Portugal, at Greece and on Slovakia until next Wednesday (26/6).

Exactly all the banks and credit card brands that will support Apple Pay in these countries are not yet known, but reports already cite six Slovak banks: Slovensk sporitea, Tatra banka, mBank, 365.bank, Potov banka and J&T Banka . Digital banks, such as N26 and Monese, should also be in the launch or shortly thereafter.

With the possible entry of these three countries, Apple Pay will add 44 locations in operation. He has been in Brazil since April 2018.
