Apple Pay arrives in Saudi Arabia and the Czech Republic
Slowly and ever, Apple continues to expand the domains of its service empire and bring options to different countries. Today, it was the turn of the Apple pay reach two more territories: Saudi Arabia and Czech Republic.
In the Middle East, Ma's payment service works with Alinma, Alrajhi, Aljazira, Riyad banks, Saudi Payments Network and the National Commercial Bank flags Mastercard and Visa. By now, the announcement of the arrival of Apple Pay had been running for a long time, but only now the platform is indeed coming to our dear Saudis.
In Czech Republic, Apple Pay works with Air Bank, Ceska Sporitelna, MONETA Money Bank, Twisto and more under the Maestro, Mastercard and Visa brands. The two countries represent the 33 and 34 territories covered by the Cupertino payment system.
The expectation now, as reported by the Cult of Mac, in relation to the (supposed) two following countries that will receive the service: Slovakia and Slovenia. It is not possible to know how long this will take, however.
