Little by little, Ma is expanding its coverage of Apple pay and taking your payment system to new territories around the world. As we anticipated at the beginning of the month, the platform has now reached its thirtieth region: the Belgium.

Apple Pay landed in Europe with support initially from three institutions: BNP Paribas, Fintro and Hello Bank (all, however, from the same conglomerate). They offer Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, but we still don't know if they will all be accepted on the platform right now.

The next steps of Apple's payments platform are already being mapped out: it will Saudi Arabia ?Coming soon? (according to Apple's local website) and should land on Germany by the end of the year. It is also possible for the system to reach the Azerbaijan sometime in 2019, according to information shared by a Mastercard chief in the country and published by Mobile World Live.

While Apple Pay is already available in 30 territories, including BrazilIn the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom, Apple Pay Cash (iMessage's inter-user money-sending system) only exists for now in the US. The full list of countries and regions supported by the platform can be found on this page.

The other news of the week regarding Apple Pay, which is more interesting for us, was the inclusion of debit card support by Banco Ita.
