As we have been covering in detail on our Instagram (1, 2, 3), Apple today opened its first store in Singapore.
The beautiful Apple Orchard Road another company store categorized as "Flagship", obviously located on Orchard Street and with a huge glass facade over 36 meters long.
Thousands of consumers lined up earlier today for the opening and were greeted with commemorative t-shirts by a team of 237 (!) Employees at 10:00 am. Among them was Apple Store boss Angela Ahrendts.
She too tweeted about the inauguration:
An unbelievable morning on Orchard Road. So touched by the warmth and passion of everyone who joined us today. #AppleOrchardRoad pic.twitter/wYi9jVG9k9

Apple Orchard Road obviously follows the whole new Ma store pattern, with 16 trees inside and areas like Genius Grove, Forum and even one Boardroom for business meetings. It is already working too, of course, within the new experience Today at Apple.
The new design concept of the stores abandoned traditional glass stairs after years in favor of new ones made of stone / ceramic.
Together, the almost 500 Apple Stores around the world today receive about 1 million visitors per day.
Apple Orchard Road is open every day from 10 am to 10 pm.
