Apple Online Store hints at new MacBook Pro models

Last week, we talked about the possibility of new MacBooks Pro painting this year, maintaining the same current structure (two 13-inch models, two 15-inch models and one 17-inch model).

Today, more information in Ma's online store implies that the update will indeed arrive. When searching the North American Apple Online Store, it is possible to find two memory modules for MacBooks Pro, indicating that a new model may even arrive by November.

The most interesting thing is that the pages are not yet activated, but the URL structure can give us clues:

The current 17-inch MacBook Pro processor with a 2GHz Core i7 offers the possibility to upgrade to the 2.33GHz model. According to the URLs above, the new speeds would be 2.33GHz and 2.4GHz. Bearing in mind that Apple employees received a holiday gift in late November, it is possible that the update will arrive in a few weeks.

Most likely the changes will be small, bringing only new processors, possibly new HDDs and the standard Bluetooth 4.0 already available on the Air line, mini and iPhone 4S.

If you are thinking of buying a new MacBook Pro, it is worth waiting a few more weeks to see if the rumor materializes. As it should not bring big news, it should arrive very quickly in Brazil.
