Apple now accepts ELO cards in its online stores in Brazil

An unexpected novelty painted in the payment adjustments of Apple's online stores (App Store, iTunes Store, iBooks Store, etc.) for Brazilians: the ELO flag was added as an option alongside the traditional Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Carto ELO on the iTunes Store

Two readers of who noticed the novelty have already successfully registered their ELO cards as a form of payment.

To change your payment method, just go to the menu Account View My Account, in iTunes, and then click “Edit” in the “Payment type” line. On iPhones / iPads, just open the Settings and, l at the top, touch your name and then in the "Payment and Delivery" area.

It is worth noting that this has nothing to do with Apple Pay, which remains exclusive to Banco Ita and only supports Visa or Mastercard.
