Apple Music will have a series of musical battles; Apple TV + hires protagonist of “O Céu em Lugar Lugar”

Another day, more news about the Apple TV + – or rather, about the entire audiovisual area of Apple. Shall we go to them?

Verzuz

To start with, a novelty that does not belong to Apple TV +, but to Apple Music: the streaming da Maçã will start showing the musical battles of the webcast Verzus, founded by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz – and which has seen its popularity explode on Instagram in recent months.

In Verzuz, two artists “face off” playing their greatest hits face to face. The episodes of the series will continue to be broadcast on Instagram, but will also be shown live on Apple Music – and whoever loses the battles will be able to watch them later on the Apple platform.

The first battle of the new series, between rappers DMX and Snoop Dogg, will happen in a little while, at 9 pm (Brasília time); other episodes will be released and broadcast periodically. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

«Heaven Everywhere»

Meanwhile, Apple and the producer A24 found the protagonist of the film «Heaven Everywhere» (“The Sky is Everywhere”), adaptation of the eponymous book that will debut on Apple TV + soon. According to deadline, the role of Lennie Walker will stay with the young woman Grace Kaufman, who has participated in series such as «The Last Ship» and “Man With a Plan”.

Grace Kaufman

As we have already commented, “Heaven everywhere” follows young Lennie Walker, who finds herself in a love triangle during the process of mourning the death of her older sister. Lennie will be Kaufman’s first starring role.

The film will have its script signed by Jandy Nelson, author of the original work, and will be directed by Josephine Decker («Madeline’s Madeline»). There is still no information on recordings or a release date, but we will certainly need to wait a while before we hear more information about it.

“Central Park”

We also have another music video from the animated series “Central Park” – this time, with the song “New York Doesn’t Like Your Face”, written by Fiona Apple and played by the actress Audra McDonald:

The song will be part of the last episode of the first season of the series, which will be available this Friday (24/7). Who will watch?

«Beastie Boys Story»

Finally, the Apple TV channel on YouTube published the video “Beastie Boys Story – Illustrated in 5 Posters by Geoff McFetridge” – which, as the name says, brings a summary of the band’s history through five posters created by the illustrator Geoff McFetridge.

The arts, as you might imagine, were fully developed on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil.

Pretty cool, isn’t it? ?
