Apple Music for Artists comes out of beta and wins app with more data

About a year and a half ago we talked Apple Music for ArtistsApple's newly created platform aimed at connecting Apple Music artists to their content performance – an easy way to access statistics on their work on Apple's platform.

Until now, Apple Music for Artists was only available in beta and only accessible by a limited number of selected artists on a web page. Now that changes: Apple has released the final version of the tool entitled to an iOS app!

Apple Music for Artists

With the news, any artist or producer who publishes content on Apple Music can log into the platform and check statistics about their music. You can view information about playback count, daily listeners, audience reach, geographic data, age range, inclusions in playlists, iTunes Store music shopping, video viewing and more.

One of the recent news from Apple Music for Artists is the integration with Shazam: With it, artists and producers can see where their music is most often identified. Apple counts data about its content since the release of Apple Music in 2015, until the most recent 24 hours.

Notably, however, it is not possible to cross data: because of Apple's privacy policy, it is not possible, for example, to see how many young people between 18 and 25 listen to their music in Brazil. The statistics can only be checked on a loose basis, even.

All data can be checked on the platform's web interface and also on the iOS app, which can be obtained by logging in to your iTunes Connect account on this page or creating your profile via the same link. Enjoy!
