Wedge Partners, another market analysis company that accompanies Ma, believes that Apple is preparing to launch, in the coming weeks, a new design for iMacs and a limited and special series of MacBooks.
Its analysts are betting that the new iMac will have a more organic, thin and smoother design. The firm also believes in reduced prices to increase demand for the product that has been gaining ground in the homes of many and to soften the impact of the entry of new PC models with the arrival of the new operating system from Microsoft.
We believe that the new models and the price cut will help Apple reach the three million unit mark sold in the last quarter of 2009, Wedge Partners said in a statement.
The forecast is even plausible, since we are close to the period when Apple usually launches new iMacs. Another point to consider that the current design is still the same that was introduced in August 2007.
Now, how about a little futurology? What changes would you like to see on your iMac? OLED screens? Touch screen? 24-inch models only? Share your thoughts in the comments.
