THE iMac it has been almost a year and a half without receiving an update. This is almost an eternity in the world of technology, where things evolve very quickly.
This, of course, speaking of the internal components of the machine. If we analyze the design, it has been parked for years, this look was introduced in 2007, changing a little (for a thinner version) in 2012.
But, apparently, Apple compensated for this delay with a good launch, at least that's what the leaker Sonny Disckson, who is missing but has great sources in Ma's production chains in Asia.
According to him, a new generation of the all-in-one desktop computer will be launched on WWDC20, with a design similar to the iPad Pro. Still according to him, the display with thick margins leaves the scene and a new one comes in, very similar to the one we have on the Pro Display XDR.
The new machine would also come with T2 security chip, AMD Navi GPU and abandon Fusion Drives (mix of HDD with SSD) for good, joining the wave of SSDs once and for all.
Everything commented on by Dickson makes sense. So, let's hope it's really true and that Apple releases this long-awaited iMac very soon! Excited?
