Apple may exceed all sales expectations in the fourth quarter of 2009

Stocks for 12/14

The holiday season is very important for the sales of many companies, but several analysts already have good estimates for the results that Apple will present in 2010, based on the figures for this quarter. Citing data from the NPD Group, Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray predicts that half of the quarter's Mac sales will be recorded in December only, although it has kept its numbers stable between 2.9 and 3 million units.

The huge expectation comes from the bombing results of Apple's new commercial desktops, launched in October. In the month following its introductions, sales in this category grew 74% compared to November 2008, a large part of them thanks to the new 21.5 and 27 inch iMacs the only challenge on the way for the company to stabilize machine delivery without problems.

In turn, JP Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz predicts that 3.29 million Macs will be sold by Apple this quarter, which motivated him to raise his price expectation for the company's shares by 4.5% from $ 217 for $ 230. Moskowitz also believes that 21.97 million iPods will be sold in the same period, as well as 8.18 million iPhones.

Meanwhile, Piper Jaffray projects a target value of $ 277 for Apple shares. However, right now, they are priced at approximately $ 196.
