Apple today released third generation Apple TV owners the Apple TV Software Update 7.2.1 (build 12H523), the first update for her in almost a year.
In a support article, Apple says the update brings only general improvements in performance and stability.

On the one hand, it is good to see that the company has not forgotten the old Apple TV. On the other hand, no apparent novelty as many expected. 😕
