Apple makes OS X 10.10.5 available, possibly the latest Yosemite update before El Capitan [atualizado 3x]

In addition to iOS 8.4.1, Apple today released the OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 (build 14F27) for all users. His last beta was just over a week ago.

The update improves the stability, compatibility and security of Macs, and is highly recommended. She:

  • Improves compatibility with some email servers when using Mail;
  • Corrects an issue with Photos that prevented importing videos from GoPro cameras;
  • Corrects an issue with QuickTime Player that prevented Windows Media files from playing.

In terms of security, OS X 10.10.5 corrects among others the flaw recently disclosed by hacker Stefan Esser.
