Musicians accustomed to using their iPad to compose their creations on the road will now also be able to rely on the iPhone or iPod touch, thanks to a new application update GarageBand that makes it Universal.

In March, when GarageBand was launched, it was only compatible with iPads. Now, those who have an iPhone or iPod will also be able to create musical pieces, either with the help of virtual instruments or by connecting real instruments to the device.

GarageBand turns your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch into a band with all the instruments and a complete recording studio so you can create music wherever you are. Use Multi-Touch gestures to play piano, organ, guitar, drums and bass. It feels like having your own band, and you will do things you never dreamed of doing with a real instrument.

The application is owned by Apple and is sold on the App Store (link) for the price of $ 4.99. It is in Portuguese and is compatible with iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S, iPad 1 and 2 and iPod touch 3G and 4G.
