Launched in June 2011, the Final Cut Pro X is the successor to Final Cut Pro, and focuses on the general public that wants to make a simple video edition (for these users, the company provides the iMovie), but rather those who work with video editing professionally.

Thus, the program is widely used by freelancers working with publishing, producers of various videos (such as advertising, education, among others) and even some film and television studios. The program Apple was used, for example, to edit What Happened Miss Simone? (documentary on the life of singer Nina Simone) and on TV series Trailer Park Boys and Accounts Settlement.

The program has a series of tools to help professional content producers, such as the possibility of working with 360 video editing and advanced color gradation (such as HDR and ProRes RAW), which makes it one of the favorites for those in need. carry out editing work with higher quality.

Therefore, the program is not lightweight, and to run it satisfactorily it is necessary to have a machine running at least version 10.14.6 of the macOS, at least 4 GB of RAM (or 8 GB in case you want to work with 360 recording or 4K video editing), a video card with at least 1 GB of VRAM and 3.8 GB of disk space for installation.
