We knew they would arrive at some point, and here they are: Apple just released new versions of its Smart Battery Case To the iPhones 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.
The new accessories are almost the same as the ones we already had for the XS / XR iPhones – with the obvious difference of the larger cutout for the new camera module. However, we have a most welcome novelty: a quick access button to the camera, located on the lower right side of the covers; a quick click on the button activates the camera with the device locked or unlocked.
With the Camera app open, the button is for shooting: a quick click takes a photo, and a long press starts capturing a video in mode QuickTake. Everything also works with selfies, of course.
For the rest, everything is the same: the cases are compatible with wireless chargers, and you can charge the accessory and the iPhone simultaneously. When fully charged, the cover extends the smartphone’s battery in up to 50%.
The new Smart Battery Cases are already on sale at American Apple Online Store [11, 11 Pro e 11 Pro Max] per $ 130, same price of accessories for iPhones XS / XR; the colors are also the same – black, white or pink-sand for the 11 Pro [Max] and black or soft white for the common 11. Shipping availability is immediate there.
Products already have pages on the Brazilian Apple Online Store [11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max] and will cost the same R $ 1,200 of the existing cases, but are not yet available for purchase here – we, of course, will stay connected. For our Portuguese readers, accessories are now available [11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max] on the other side of the Atlantic – they cost 150 € at the Apple Online Store in Portugal and are scheduled for delivery next week.
