Apple launches new ‘Music Ideas’ app and updates GarageBand to iOS

Apple tends to launch new applications only in conjunction with system updates. But today she did it differently, surprising everyone. The new app called Already in the App Store Musical Ideas, for musicians to make quick recordings when inspiration comes and can’t wait.

The Music Ideas app has gained some of GarageBand’s power, but with the simplicity of the iOS Voice Recorder. GarageBand for iOS has also gained a major update, with changes that are listed below:

• Use Live Loops to create music by triggering instrument loops and DJ effects in real time with Multi-Touch gestures;• Add a virtual Drummer to the music for him to direct, making realistic grooves of acoustic and electronic drums;• Record adjustments to any Touch Instrument control button in real time;• Create and edit automation curves to control the volume of any track;• Shape the sound of a Touch Instrument or audio recording using Simple EQ and Compressor;• Connect a bass and play through vintage and modern bass amplifiers;• Added more than 1,200 Apple Loops and new sounds;• Record up to 32 tracks simultaneously;• Use third-party instrument apps in music with Audio Unit Extensions;• Import or export projects from GarageBand directly using iCloud Drive;• Use 3D Touch to play keyboard sounds with polyphonic aftertouch.
