New MacBooks Pro were expected for some time. And today, Apple tried to launch them!
The new machines have processors 8th Generation Intel Core with up to six cores (on the 15 ″ model) for up to 70% faster performance, and quad-core (13 ″ model) for up to 2x faster performance. In addition to processor improvements, the update includes support for up to 32GB of RAM, one True Tone display (matching the screens of iPhones and iPads, which also have the feature) and a third generation keyboard enhanced for quieter typing.

Now with six-core eighth generation processors, up to 32GB of system memory, up to 4TB of super-fast SSD storage, new True Tone technology on its Retina and Touch Bar screen, the Apple T2 chip for added security and, third generation keyboard that is quieter, with its thin, light aluminum design and battery that lasts all day, is the best notebook for professional users.

Now, Apple’s new professional notebooks support up to 4TB (15 ″ model) and 2TB (13 ″ model) of SSD – the top-of-the-line models sold in the store, however, continue to be offered by default with 512GB; for more space, you need to customize the machine (and pay good more for that).
The new display, with 500 nits of brightness and support for the P3 color gamut, is the best ever put on a portable Mac. Now, with True Tone technology, the screen and Touch Bar offer an even more natural viewing experience.
Another new feature of this MacBook Pro is the Apple T2 chip, first introduced in the iMac Pro. With this chip, the MacBook Pro now offers enhanced system security with support for secure boot and instant encrypted storage, in addition to bringing the “E there, Siri ”for the Mac for the first time.
The 15 ″ models come equipped with a Radeon Pro GPU with 4GB of video memory, while the 13 ″ models feature integrated Intel Iris Plus 655 graphics with 128MB of VRAM.
The new MacBooks are still unavailable in Brazil, but their prices have already been announced – ranging from R $ 11,700 on the 13 ″ model without Touch Bar until R $ 24,600 on the 15 ″ top-of-the-line model (out there, from $ 1,300 to $ 2,800).
First introduced on the 12-inch MacBook, Apple leather covers are now available for the 13 ″ and 15 ″ MacBooks in midnight blue, brown and, for the first time, black. According to Apple, the cover was designed with high quality leather and a soft microfiber lining for extra protection. They are already on sale here in Brazil for R $ 1,300 ($ 180 out there).
