This morning, Apple quietly released a new educational version of its desktop all-in-one for now, only available in the United States.
The new iMac costs $ 1,000 and comes with a slightly simpler configuration than the current entry-level consumer model, which goes out for $ 1,150. See the comparison:

The last special model of the iMac for education cost $ 900, but still the offer is very interesting.
The big question: will this iMac arrive in Brazil? I think it has everything to arrive. The last model launched by Apple landed here costing R $ 3,500, but had a promotion offering it for R $ 2,850, a very nice price for the national market.
We know that the new iMacs are powerful, even faster than the Macs Pro in several aspects. But if you are a student, want to save a little change and do not need that much power, it is certainly worth waiting a while.

The machine is more “capada” than we imagined:
- It does not have a Thunderbolt port, but a Mini DisplayPort;
- It does not incorporate Bluetooth connectivity;
- Comes with the wired Apple Mouse instead of the Magic Mouse.
