Apple launches new app "Classroom" for iPads

As we have already covered here on the website, iOS 9.3 arrived today bringing several good news for the educational segment.

And one of them is now available on the App Store: the "Classroom" ("Classroom").

Classroom turns the iPad into a powerful class assistant, allowing teachers to guide, monitor and verify student progress during class. With the Classroom, you can easily open a single application at the same time on all students' devices or a different application for each group. The Classroom helps teachers to focus on teaching so that students can focus on learning.

With the application, it is possible to associate shared iPads with students; start, focus or pause student work; see the screen of student iPads; share student work on an Apple TV for the entire class; reset passwords; organize devices into groups; among others.

The “Classroom” requires iOS 9.3 or higher, and students' supervised devices must be registered with the Mobile Device Management server. Communication between iPads is all via Bluetooth.
