Apple launches major update for Final Cut Pro X, already integrated into the Touch Bar of the new MacBook Pro

Apple devoted a good few minutes of its keynote today to demonstrating a new version of its professional video editing software, the Final Cut Pro X which integrates very well with the Touch Bar of the new MacBook Pro for a simplified work process. (Okay, when the dust settles, let's discuss more deeply the real usefulness of this bar for now, let's stick to the facts.)

The fact that Apple has just released this new version on the Mac App Store, as well as updates for its two complementary applications, the Motion it's the Compressor.

In addition to adding contextual dynamic controls to the Touch Bar (for those lucky enough to buy the new MacBook Pro with it, of course), the Final Cut Pro 10.3 brings news like Magnetic Timeline (magnetic timeline), where it is possible to interact with the different forms of content soundtracks, effects, dialogue highlighting them, assigning colors and symbols to each of them, or dragging them to change the edition layout.

Other good news includes a slight redesign of the interface, which is a little darker and flat, with customizable workspaces even through multiple monitors, in addition to adding supports to more color schemes. Also included is the ability to transmit video directly via Thunderbolt 3 and new features like a new type of transition (Flow) for the creation of jump cuts smooth.

Motion 5.3 also includes integration with the Touch Bar and a redesigned interface with support for new color schemes, in addition to improvements in the 3D text system and addition of small new features. Finally, Compressor 4.3 also slightly changes the interface, a little darker, brings Touch Bar support and new color schemes, in addition to coming with new export options for iTunes Store.

Final Cut Pro 10.3 is now available on the Mac App Store for the usual $ 300 for new users, but a free upgrade for those who already own the software. Likewise, Motion 5.3 and Compressor 4.3 can now be updated free of charge by those who already have previous versions; new users must pay US $ 50 for each one.
