Apple surprised today with the launch of the Clips, a new app that promises to provide a “quick and fun” way for anyone to create “expressive videos” on their iPhone or iPad.
It brings a unique and intuitive design that facilitates the combination of video clips, photos and music in cool movies for you to share with relatives / friends via iMessage, Instagram, Facebook and other social networks, in addition to YouTube and Vimeo.
One of the coolest features of Clips is what Apple calls Live Titles, which allows users to create subtitles and animated titles using simply their voice (in real time, with support for 36 different languages which must include our Portuguese). There will also be cool effects like filters for comic books, speech bubbles, shapes, emojis and animated posters in full screen.
Whoever touches Clips does not need to understand timelines (timelines), banners or any type of complicated editing tool; everything be done by simple touches. It was developed with the general public in mind, functioning as a kind of Apple's “response” to the Snapchat / Instagram Stories phenomenon.

Clips will be available for free on the App Store in April and will require iOS 10.3.
