Not the first or the second time that a related rumor appears, but this time we have something official from Apple a job vacancy that corroborates such a possibility.
The Cupertino firm is looking for a Mac hardware test engineer (Communications QA Engineer) focused on “wireless 3G WANs” in addition to Bluetooth, Ethernet and Wi-Fi and, according to her, deeply committed to deadlines and technical details:
Testing and reporting hardware, software, and device driver bugs for Communications technologies including AirPort (802.11a / b / g / n), Bluetooth v2.0, gigabit Ethernet, and / or 3G Wireless WAN in a detailed, timely manner.
Basically, Apple wants a specialist in laptop communication technologies who has experience with all protocols that already exist in MacBooks, but now with the addition of 3G. Interesting.
