Apple is sued for alleged defect in the Watch screen of any generation

We are in the age of class action against Apple. And I don't say it in a derogatory way, no, see problems like the “touch disease” and the butterfly mechanism on MacBooks keyboards (Pro), which, in my view, are real problems that Apple is really to blame for. Now, one more press conference fell on the lap of Ma’s lawyers, this time related to the Apple Watch.

As reported by the Patently AppleKenneth Sciacca (of Colorado) accuses Apple of refusing to recognize a common complaint that encompasses all generations of the watch. According to her, all Apple Watches (original, Series 1, 2 and 3) have the same defect / flaw, which causes the watch screens to break or come off the body without any user interference sometimes, in mere days or weeks after purchase.

More than that, Sciacca claims that Apple was aware of the defect from the beginning, but that it refuses to honor the warranty to resolve the issue. In total, she wants Apple to pay $ 5 million to settle the pendenga (which may seem like a lot but, divided among all watch users by steel, a little change).

To date, Apple has recognized two problems related to watches: in the original model, it even exchanged units whose batteries swelled and caused the back cover or the watch's own screen to heal (something that also happened on some Series 2 units) ; already in Series 3, some units displayed strange lines on the screen and were also duly exchanged for Ma.

We will see how to be this dispute.
