Apple today released updates for its professional audio applications. The updates are directly related to the acquisition of Camel Audio, which took place last February.

Introducing Alchemy – the music manipulation synthesizer samples definitive:
- Next generation synthesizer plugin with several sound generators, including additive, spectral, formant, granular, sampler and virtual analogue;
- More than 3,000 presets for all types of electronic music, including dance, hip-hop, rock and film music;
- Integrated preset keywords browser to find the right sounds quickly;
- Performance controls, such as Transform Pad, facilitate the exploration and remodeling of sounds;
- Combine up to four synthesizer modules to create complex multilayer sounds;
- Virtual analogue oscillators produce authentic recreations of iconic synthesizer sounds;
- Extensive selection of analog modeling filters and special effects to produce characteristic sounds vintage and timbral complexity;
- Create animated and dynamic instruments using more than 100 modulation sources, including flexible LFO, AHDSR and MSEG envelopes and step sequencers;
- Handle and combine samples in new ways using a collection of transformative and resynthetic tools;
- Import EXS24 instruments or create your own using a solid sampler feature set;
- Apply independent arpeggiators to each of the 4 sound sources to transform simple chords into elaborate performances;
- Integrated effects rack with reverb, modulation, delay, compression and various distortion effects.
In addition, the update brings new smart controls Transform Pad and X / Y Pad in tabs for Alchemy instruments, direct sharing on Apple Music Connect, added support for the Force Touch trackpad, creation of custom track icons with your own image files, 1,000 new Apple Loops (from a variety of popular instruments and genres, including EDM, hip-hop, indie, disco, funk and blues), expanded MIDI clock options that improve sync compatibility with external MIDI devices, in addition to several other improvements and stability enhancements.

The MainStage update is practically the same as Logic Pro X, with the exception of the expanded MIDI clock options that improve synchronization compatibility with external MIDI devices.

J Logic Remote has gained new intelligent controls Transform Pad and X / Y Pad in tabs for Alchemy instruments, in addition to several stability and connectivity improvements.
