In 2017 and 2018, Apple lost the highest position to the Google, while the leadership Amazon in 2019 – and again now, in 2020.
The difference is that, now, the distance between the first two places is much greater: according to Kantar’s estimate, the Amazon brand is currently worth $ 416 million (up 32% over the previous year), while Apple’s is worth $ 352 million (up 14%).
The brand of Microsoft, in turn, surpassed that of Google and won the third place in the ranking, although both are almost glued. It is not yet known how the new Coronavirus will impact the value of brands, but before the pandemic, the total value of Top 100 had an estimated 9% growth.
