Apple hires WIRED design director and journalist for The Wall Street Journal in China

As we know, behind the great products and services are competent people who donate the best to companies. THE Apple he knows this and makes a point of always looking for professionals capable of making a difference.

Billy Sorrentino

Now, Ma's design team has just won another member: the magazine's creative director WIRED, Billy Sorrentino. At the magazine, he worked since 2013 and was in charge of the four creative departments: design, photo, video and production, as Recode. In addition, he was also responsible for the brand's presence in other channels such as print, digital editions, social media, retail and live events. This means that he was really present in almost everything that WIRED did.

As if that were not enough, Sorrentino has also worked as a design director at the Editorial Development Group at Cond Nast, the Museum of Modern Art, Sony Records, Adobe, American Express, Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ. He has also been nominated for two years in a row by American Society of Magazine Editors.

THE 9to5Mac bets that Sorrentino's work at Apple is more linked to software than hardware; anyway, it looks like Ma caught a “big fish”.
