Apple forwards production of iPad touchscreens to another company

According to the DigiTimes, TPK, a company that provided touchscreens for the manufacture of iPads, was unable to maintain demand for Apple orders and ended up being replaced by another one, also located in the Asian continent. Wintek, responsible for the production of components for other Ma gadgets, will take the place of the competitor, which will certainly allow the tablet manufacturing to serve all users.

Apparently, the problem with their production pace (which has been commented on a lot in recent weeks) is being caused by this lack of screens, supposedly the most difficult component to be assembled for the iPad. In addition to having much greater precision for gesture recognition, it uses IPS technology to ensure high color quality and viewing from almost any angle.

It is curious that a rumor a few days ago already put Wintek as responsible for the slow pace of production of iPads, also due to delays in the production of touchscreens. It is still unclear whether Apple decided to invest more in the company to continue working with it on an exclusive basis or if the previous speculation was false.
