A few days ago Apple promised and today it fulfilled: OS X, iOS and Apple TV are now protected against security breach "FREAK", which affects the HTTPS protocol.

For OS X, Apple today released the Mac App Store Security Update 2015-002. It can also be downloaded partly in versions for Yosemite, Yosemite (Early 2015 Mac), Mavericks and Mountain Lion. The details of the update are all in this support article.

For others, the security corrections were built into the iOS 8.2 and in Apple TV Software 7.1 released earlier. Apple has also published detailed security articles on iOS 8.2 and Apple TV 7.1.

When it comes to security updates, it is worth remembering that it is worth installing them on your devices (Macs, iPads, iPhones, iPods touch and / or Apple TVs) as quickly as possible. There is no chance at chance.
