Apple finally allows movies rented from the iTunes Store to be watched anywhere

cone - iTunes 12.2 on MacApple has just released the iTunes 12.6 on the Mac App Store, and it brings a long-awaited novelty for users.

Rent once, watch anywhere. Now you can enjoy rented movies on iTunes on any of your iOS 10.3 or tvOS 10.2 devices.

This update also includes minor app and performance improvements.

Those who have never rented a movie on the iTunes Store probably did not know this, but until now we were obliged to watch them on the device chosen for the rental to be made. That is, it was not possible to rent a movie on the iPad and then continue watching on Apple TV.

With iTunes 12.6 on macOS, iOS 10.3 on iPad / iPhone / iPod touch and tvOS 10.2 on Apple TV (the latter two, not yet released to all users), this is finally over. Good, Apple! 😃
