Apple extends (again) bonuses on exchanging old iPhones for new ones

Last November, already as a possible strategy to combat weak sales, Apple started a promotion in its trade-in GiveBack, which gives a bonus when buying a new iPhone with the delivery of your current Apple smartphone. The promotion, which increases the value of the bonus when purchasing iPhones XR, XS or XS Max, was subsequently extended to several other countries (Brazil, however, is not part of this program).

Initially, the “limited time” offer would be valid until the end of January; at one point, it was extended until mid-February, and now again Apple is extending its validity – this time, until 25th March (coincidentally or not, the speculated date for the next Apple event).

The change was spotted in the famous “contract letters” on Apple sites around the world, but not in the US – there, companies are not required by law to certify the duration of promotions and special offers. Apparently, however, the bonus should end at the same time in all countries… if Apple does not decide to postpone that date again, of course.

Those interested, the countries participating in the promotion include Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, France, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macau, United Kingdom United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland and Taiwan.

The bonus varies by country and device; in England, for example, the iPhone XS can be purchased for from ÂŁ 749, while the iPhone XR in Canada can be priced at from CA $ 649.
